Since finishing my science degree in 1976, I have been working with plants. I have been a horticulturist, a researcher, the curator of world renowned botanic gardens, the director of an international conservation program and now a botanical consultant. My work has involved an extremely broad range of botanical activities and I have developed a large number of valuable contacts.
My services include the development and management of:
National Arboretum Canberra An extensive tree planting in Canberra, the capital of Australia it will contain over 100 forests of species from throughout the world focussing on threatened and ethnobotanically important species.
Oman Botanic Garden Among the newest botanic gardens in the world Oman Botanic Garden aims to effectively promote and conserve the flora and heritage of Oman while being as environmentally sustainable as possible.
Australian Network for Plant Conservation One of the first national plant conservation networks in the world it plays an important role in providing an effective link between plant scientists and the conservationists in the field.
